Attire

We are both extremely fortunate to have such good looking family and friends. We want everybody to feel their best as well as look their best. Therefore we have decided to opt for the following dress code:

Dress Code: Formal Dress/Black Tie

Dinner Jackets or Tuxedo's with tie or bowtie. Velvet jackets will be worn by the wedding party.

Cocktail dresses are encouraged, the bridal party will be wearing full length dresses in blue.

The Ceremony

Location: Holywood Parish Church

Time of ceremony: 13:00

Please aim to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony

The wedding ceremony is due to take place at the wonderful Holywood Parish Church, which is just 5 minutes away from Jane's family home and is the church Liz attends on a regular basis.

We ask everyone to make every effort to arrive on time for the ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony we will make our way to the reception. A bus transfer will be put on to bring everybody across.

The Reception

Location: The Carriage Rooms at Montalto

Address: The Carriage Rooms, Montalto Estate Spa Road, Ballynahinch, Co. Down, BT24 8PT

Arrival: Approximately 15:00

We will be providing a bus to transport everyone from the church to the reception.

The Carriage Rooms at Montalto is a fantastic venue with both ample inside and outside space to accommodate everybody no matter what the weather. The drinks reception will be held upstairs in the hosting rooms followed by the wedding dinner in the main hall. Following this there will be a live band, dance floor and bar area downstairs which I am sure will be pumping until the last minute!

Gift Registry

We are so happy to have you all at our special day and do not expect any gifts. However should you want to give something, we would be extremely grateful for a contribution towards house decorating or an item for our home.

Alternatively, should you want to donate something to charity, we have set up two Just Giving pages for charities that support conditions that affected both our lives. We have set one up for the mental health charity Mind, looking to provide better mental health services for everyone.
We have also set one up for Leukaemia care and research, which is a form of blood cancer that arises from your bone marrow.
